Meet Monmo, a pure-hearted and kind saru (Japanese macau monkey) living in the cold mountains of Northern Japan. He's a little bit shy compared to his other family members, but wants to be your friend!
Monmo's favorite treat is bananas. Although they're rarely found in the North, one time a traveler from Southern Japan took a day trip to enjoy the natural onsen and forgot their bento. After the visitor left, Monmo discovered their bento which included a banana and he became obsessed with the taste. It isn't rare for Monmo to dream about the next opportunity he'll get to enjoy bananas again.
