Happy Friday, everyone!

Great news! All the latest pins came in yesterday and at first glance everything is looking gorgeous! So I'll be plugging away at getting those unbagged, graded and on their backing cards for the unforeseeable future. >_<

In the meantime, I wanted to invite you all to go ahead and add on any pins from the shop you want to add to your upcoming package to save on shipping. I've also updated the Mugen Wisteria & Hydrangea (which turned out GORGEOUS btw) add-on pages to include photos of the physical product in case you wanted to see those first before adding on. Those of you who already know you're gonna want the variants for Helpless Hunk and Saturn, I've included listings as well. I won't list the extras of the remainder of pins until everything is graded since I won't know how many I have of each pin grade to sell til I do that. My photos are just quick shots and not the aesthetic photos I usually take as I won't have time to take those pics til I'm done grading.

NEW YOKAI DROPS

I dropped the long overdue Yokai Mask pins and hanafuda decks on our website on Wednesday, but given how absolutely awful my reach on IG and TikTok has been, I honestly doubt you all saw the posts or stories, so I wanted to let you all know if you're interested that we have our Yokai Mask and Hanafuda set available on the site now. These were both designed for our Yokai Pin club in 2021, but for the first time we finally have the extra decks and the non-pin club variants of the masks available. I've been selling these designs at events with a lot of popularity, but I never had time to really take proper photos of the products. I'm excited to finally have these available on the website as well.

Normally we only sell the Yokai masks as a set at events, but until tonight, we are allowing you to choose just the mask(s) you want to purchase. These are all really cool and evocative of the masks worn at Japanese matsuri (festivals) in the summer! The Hyottoko (the man with the funny face) mask would also be really perfect for those of you who collect KNY pins for everyone's favorite swordsmith!

BOARD FILLER PRE-ORDERS

I also wanted to let you know that I've decided to restock our feather board filler pins and also am adding some really cute rose petals to match any of our variants of the handsome Helpless Hunk, the upcoming Tux pin, and our Protector of Dreams, as well as to pair well with honestly any of your SM pins you probably have on boards. I've included the pretty winkers in the images so you can see the size comparison of the board fillers. Each of the rose petals is about 0.35-0.4". For the feathers, I've also made a black feather variant as I know a lot of you are HMC collectors and would love to be able to pair that pin with your collection. Surprisingly, our Hanabi (fireworks) pin has been really popular with HMC collectors as well!

EARRING PRE-ORDERS

I am especially excited to share with you a new product type as we haven't added any non-pin products recently besides our Hanafuda deck which we just dropped this week. These adorable konpeito earrings are going to be made of solid semi-transparent acrylic so they can emulate the transparent feeling of actual konpeito candies! At a lot of the events I've been tabling at, I've been seeing how popular laser cut acrylic jewelry, keychains, etc has been and I thought rather than turn my konpeito board filler pins into earrings (a request I get often) I'd rather make them out of acrylic. While we do have metal and enamel earrings available, I don't personally wear earrings too often as I find many materials to be heavy. We have wanted to create lots of jewelry and apparel, but the largest setback is always materials as we want what we make to be comfortable as well as fashionable. So I felt that this would be a better materials option. We also opted for stainless steel as Taka warned me that many people have silver allergies, even if it is 100% silver which our manufacturer had offered.

UPCOMING DESIGNS

Final notes for this update is that I am working on some other new product designs which include (but aren't limited) to embroidered bracelets, lollipop keychains of our original characters (Shishi-maru, Shishi-ko, Kyuu-chan, and a few new ones), as well as some "San-Gotchi" double sided cute keychains I'd like to make as well!
