I’m saving my favorite character (besides Rin) for last! Baby Boh is finishing out Spirited Away designs for Ghibli collection and I’m planning to finish off 2023 with Princess Mononoke designs.

PRETTY WINKERS: PS

For our Pretty Winkers: Pretty Soldiers club, we have Hotaru looking demure, but sweet as she enjoys the park. Although the iconic scenes of her playing with Chibiusa in the pink shibazakura fields had green trees, we swapped this design to have green grass and bushes and sakura trees. For Professor Tomoe, he’s looking really handsome and kind. One thing Taka insisted on was making sure he and Hotaru both had soft flat brows to look like family. I also gave the shading in his hair a soft purple tint to sort of match with Hotaru’s hair. Tomoe’s base with the Pure Heart crystal will be used across all the Witches 5 designs, and I plan on making the base clear stained glass effect if it’s not too small for the pin manus. I’ll keep you updated on what they say as I’m just waiting to hear back now that they’re coming back from their Mid-Autumn festival vacation.

MOUJUU CLUB

This month, Moujuu Club members will be able to choose between the classic orange tiger or white tiger. This color combo feels similar to when we did our Inari Kitsune (fox) designs in April and I think they’ll pair really nicely with them.

PACKAGING + PRODUCTION UPDATES

By now I think everyone has gotten their packages I sent out in early September, though perhaps a few international orders are in transit still. I also just got another package of pins from the factory we were testing out designs with, so I’ll be adding those to the grading queue. Now that vectors are done, I am wrapping up grading for

I also have received some of the 6 month freebie gifts though still waiting on more of them to come in. It seems to be that the lead time for all 3 of our manus is closer to 8-10 weeks these days as I’ve had to even put a rush on our back up who is usually quick to hurry some designs that I gave them 2 months to complete in order to get in time for my event last weekend. I ended up having to pay for shipping twice just to get them to give those to me in time for that event and have more designs with them nearing completion. So it really does seem to be that all the factories are running on slower speeds than I’m used to and I imagine it might slow down even more now that holiday season is nearing. As always, I’ll try to process as quick as I can on my end and keep you all updated, but just letting you all know average wait times.

PRINCESS URANUS PRE-ORDERS

Also, I realized that last month I completely forgot to put up the pre-orders for Princess Uranus even though I already put into production, so consider this your heads up that I’ll be putting pre-orders on the site on Monday at 4pm PST. :) As usual, there will be limited preorders, particularly for collector grades to ensure I can fulfill correctly since this design is only LE40 for the anime variant and LE20 for the manga variant.
