Checklists + March Preview

Hi Friends!

Y'all been asking for a couple months now, and at last I finally put together some checklists of all the Pretty Winkers designs we've made so far. Please feel free to use them for your reference, for posting in your stories or ISO/trades wherever.

Limited Variants

I know I put Limited Variants for the last page, but do be aware that any pastel/manga variants even if on other checklists are also limited, just wouldn't have had space to put them all on one page. Furthermore, as always, the Moon Queen pin is never being re-released. I know I've mentioned before that we do have plans to release a public design for Neo Queen Serenity at some point, so anyone who has missed out on her will be able to get that version whenever that comes along in our laundry list of designs. On the limited variant one, the blocked out pink is the 12-mo Princess Serenity, I just don't want to show her until she's in hand because I want her to be a fun surprise for everyone when they get her! :) Regarding Limited designs, Pastel Mamoru is long sold out, and Mako-chan, Setsuna, and Cosmic Kitties, while I'm showing their variants on the limited page, have not yet been released as they are in production at this time. But I figured I'd include them on the page so you can keep track if you're planning to get them.

I'll also likely be making a printable checklist where you can mark the dates you were signed up for or take notes (like remakes and stuff like that)

March Design Preview

On another note, since we're a few days away from the beginning of March (ugh! February just flew by for us with our move and I'm still barely set up in my office since I need to wait on some new office furniture to get in), I'll be spending the next few days vectoring the designs for next month, but I'm already pumped for these beauties!

You can see the sketches for Uranus & Petz, as well as the final linework for Uranus up top. Taka will finish up Petz tonight while I'm vectoring Uranus & our March Floral design(s). Speaking of which:

Many of you may not know, but sakura (while special to pretty much everyone) is especially important to us because the Shishido kamon (family crest) includes the sakura. Originally Taka thought it was only a sakura in his family crest, but later found out it also includes elements of botan (peony) and another floral (sorry, can't recall what it was at the moment). Our kamon is almost the same as the famous brutal warlord, Oda Nobunaga, who also happens to be Taka's favorite historical warlord in feudal Japan. The main difference between the Oda clan's kamon and our own is that ours has a thick circle outside of the floral design.

In any case, here are the sketches for March's sakura design. To be honest, we weren't sure which design to do, so we'll likely be putting both into production and the design with the bird will be the main pin, with option to add on the second design without the bird. Not 100% certain on that, so don't quote me on that, but if you're thinking you'd want both, please let us know so we can decide in the next couple days.

MANU UPDATES

So I chatted with our main manu and it looks like the reason I haven't had any photo updates recently is that his factory wasn't allowing non-production team members in until yesterday due to some covid outbreak restrictions in their area, so he wasn't able to get me photos til this morning when he was allowed back into work. But good news, is it looks like things are moving along pretty quickly and he said he'd be sending me pics tomorrow of all the designs he's about to ship out. It sounded like the corrected Wicked Lady might be in that batch since after I asked about her is when he mentioned sending out a shipment tomorrow, but I'll know for sure when he sends me the confirmation pics so fingers crossed that we finally get her! :o

Anyways, that's about all for today! We'll be working hard on the March designs the next few days, so stay tuned for the production-ready vectors soon!
